Get A Referral
Referrals can be arranged by contacting a number of organisations including the ones below:
Social Workers
Health Workers
Doctors’ surgeries
Refuges
Churches
Schools
If you are having trouble working out which organisation to approach or how to do it please phone or email us and we will do our best to help you.
The organisation referring you will contact us directly and we will prepare a food parcel to last you and your household for a week. Our food parcels consist of a mixture of store cupboard and fresh food as well as toiletries and other household essentials.
If you have special dietary needs please let the person referring you know and ask them to pass that information on to us. We will try to tailor your parcel accordingly.
Food parcels are normally prepared on the same day as the referral is received, if it is a weekday, but our last delivery goes out at 2.30 pm so if a referral for a delivered parcel is received after that time it will go out on the next weekday.
Getting Your Food Parcel
Food parcels can be delivered or collected in person from the food bank in Lymington at the address at the bottom of this page. Just let the person referring you know whether you prefer collection or delivery and they will tell us when they refer you.
Deliveries are made in unmarked vehicles. Please note that the food parcel consists of several carrier bags and will be quite heavy.
We are open Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 3:00pm except bank holidays
