Reverse Advent Calendars 2023

Help local households in crisis by donating a Christmas Hamper through our Reverse Advent Calendar initiative!

Instead of opening a square to find a treat for yourself throughout December, we request our generous community to step up and donate one item per day in November to bring some Christmas cheer to those in need. It is a fun activity to do with your family, neighbours, work colleagues, sports team, church congregation or friends.

Please collect items for each day of November as per the calendar below and pop them in a decorated box. If you can, kindly put in a Christmas card as for some recipients this will be the only card they will receive. Please do not include any products containing alcohol or any fresh food that requires refrigeration. Kindly also ensure that the expiry dates on all items are January 2024 or later.

All full boxes are to be delivered to the New Forest Basics Bank by 4 December, so we can make sure local families in need receive a Christmas Hamper in time for Christmas. We are open for deliveries between 9.00 am and 2.00 pm Monday to Friday.

Lastly, we appreciate that it is a big ask to donate an entire Christmas Hamper. Do rest assured that we welcome any Christmas seasonal items and all food and basics donations (in-date). Please know that all donations will be gratefully received.
